Generators based on biomass and biogas are also expected to contribute to the increase." Renewable energy is now heavily promoted because of the need to reduce the use of fossil fuels. "Ultimately, the prediction by the IEA about a gradual increase in the fraction of renewable electricity sources is a positive message for cogeneration and on-site power production. "
